Skies
The sky is an amazing sight. It really does something to the human mind and spirit. Movies like Kurosawa's Ran use shots of skies and clouds to set mood in a very subtle way.
Unfortunately, I don't have too many photos, just memories. I also would like to take shots and sounds of storms. I wish I had a chance to record all those fantastic thunderstorms when I lived in Boston. There is no greater percussive performance.
When I was in Scotland, I remember this sky. There was reds and purples piercing the sky from underneath, and above there was a shining silver lining. It was so brilliant, it was like feeling a divine presence revealing itself, awakening.

Videos
*I took out the videos as I exceeded my webspace. I don't have much in the way of video. But I started playing around with a CASIO EX-M2 an uncle had given me when he bought the newest version. I like this thing, because I can carry it in my pocket. It also had a video record feature which I tried on several occasions.

I took this short clip on the express train from HK to Guangdong.
This small waterfall was also taken in Guangdong. We had stopped by, because our friends wanted to burn some incense and give thanks to the local deity whose shrine was nearby for good luck.
